Information
about the Garden Route and Eastern Cape |
|
The Eastern Cape has the greatest diversity of environments, cultural attractions and outdoor acivities. Although unjustifiebly underrated as a game desination, iti is malaria free and offers a wide variety of wildlife. There are also fantastic climbing opportunities and hiking trails, ranging from beach ramblers to pretty hectic mountain epics. The mountain biking fraternity is large and active. The Garden Route, with its succession of bays, white sandy beaches, spectacular cliffs and tidal pools, offers many of the country's premier coastal resorts. The Wilderness area, with its series of huge lakes and abundant wildlife, is a favourite destination for water sports. Knysna is the country's largest commercial oyster farming centre and for 10 days every July the Oyster Festival draws thousands of visitors. Below is just a small selection of what this region has to offer. Contact us for any of the activities listed or tell us what your desires are, we will respond with a no obligation quotation for your trip of a life time.
