A little bit of magic in East Texas
A
Country Cottage Bed and Breakfast located near Marshall,
Texas
 The
Pond House, located less than three miles from Marshall,
Texas, rests on 50 acres of park-like land and nestles
quietly among tall East Texas pines. Its spacious
three-level deck overhangs the smooth pond at the rear
of the cottage. Relax on the deck while you sip some
iced tea or a cold Chardonnay and listen to the
splashing of the fountain in center of the pond. If you
are up to some fishing, your hosts, Cindy and Tom, have
provided an abundance of large,
 plump catfish
in the pond. Feel free to catch as many as you
like on a "catch and release" basis.
The
super-sized, tri-level deck is the perfect place for a
romantic evening under the stars or a party for special
occasions. The top level offers seating for 25 guests; a
terrific place for a dinner party and there is ample
room on the second and third decks for dancing
underneath the moonlight.
The sunken hot tub on
the second deck allows you to luxuriate in the soothing
warm water any time of the day or night. For more
pampering, a spa session or massage can be arranged for
your pleasure.
