Marie has had no formal
education in interior design. However, instead of a hindrance, she
believes this lack of formal degree frees her from the confines of
established styles, customs and practices. So instead of "designing
interiors", Marie's aim is to observe as intensely as possible the
client's way of "being in his or her world" that surrounds them. She
can then project her creativity through these observations to create
an ambience. Marie imagines this ambience as a "nest" that is both
inspiring and restful to the client; a "nest that is bound together
with a collection of branches and materials" by both Marie and the
client such that no ambience could possibly resemble another. |
